EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT / MENTAL HEALTH ADVOCATE
Certified Peer Support Specialist | Community Health Worker | Advocate for Mental Health & Recovery
My personal journey through addiction, mental health struggles, and recovery has shaped the work I do today. Having navigated multiple hospitalizations and periods of deep personal struggle, I have learned firsthand the challenges and victories of overcoming adversity. My experiences with addiction, suicidal thoughts, and attempts have led me to a place of enlightenment—one where I am now able to help others find their own light, just as I did.
Through my work in reentry services, I connect with individuals who come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, just like I did. I believe no two journeys are the same, but through empathy, understanding, and peer support, we all have unique paths to healing. As a certified Peer Support Specialist and Community Health Worker, I am equipped with the skills to guide others through their own recovery. I also hold ASIST training for suicide intervention, reinforcing my commitment to helping others in their most vulnerable moments.
In addition to my passion for helping others, I am also a proud advocate for the power of change, having been sober and clean for four years this June. Outside of my professional work, I am an avid baker and culinary enthusiast, specializing in cakes, and I believe that every small act of creativity can make a big impact.
I strive each day to make a difference, one life at a time, as I continue to walk alongside those who are seeking their own recovery and healing.
