FRIENDS OF JOHN
THE POWER OF CHRIST-CENTERED RECOVERY
we are the church without walls!
Friends of John Recovery Ministry’s mission is to help people heal from church hurt, religious trauma, and spiritual harm. Our members are those recovering from hurt, hang-ups, and habits such as addiction, divorce, codependency, mental health challenges, trauma, and grief.
We started Friends of John to share the love of Christ through a Christ-centered 12-step recovery meeting held during the day for those who cannot attend evening programs.
Our one-hour meetings are designed for people with busy lives who still seek hope, healing, and change.
We also gather on holidays, knowing those days can be especially difficult. No one should have to walk through life alone—we are forever family.
During inreach meetings, we include a call for salvation and trust in the Holy Spirit’s power to transform lives.
