FAITH & RECOVERY SPECIALIST
Certified Peer Support Specialist | Certified Trauma-Informed Life Coach | Ordained Minister
Kecia M. White is a Certified Peer Support Specialist, Certified Life Coach, and the Founder of Our Voices Ministry. She is trained in addressing trauma, mental health, and substance use disorders, and brings deep lived experience to her work—including substance use disorder, mental health challenges, domestic violence, homelessness, and incarceration.
After spending 22 years battling addiction and trauma, Kecia made a life-changing decision in 2021 to leave behind the street life and begin her faith walk in ministry. Since then, she has been deeply committed to reaching back and pulling others out of the same pits she once encountered.
Kecia is passionate about helping women reclaim their God-given purpose and rediscover their voices—voices that are often silenced by addiction, mental health challenges, trauma, abuse, and hardship. Our Voices Ministry was birthed from her own journey of losing and reclaiming her voice through healing and faith.
She also works behind the walls, offering support and spiritual guidance to incarcerated women, reminding them of their worth, identity, and divine purpose. Kecia was licensed in 2022 and ordained in 2024. Her life’s mission is to advocate for and uplift those who feel unseen, unheard, and unsure of how to fight for themselves.
